Expense Form Fields
| Field | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
Date | The date the expense was incurred (not necessarily the date you are entering it). | |
Amount | The total expense amount. | |
Currency | โ | The currency of the expense. Defaults to workspace currency. |
Category | Select the expense category. The AI may suggest one automatically. | |
Supplier | โ | Who you paid (vendor or supplier name). |
Description | โ | A brief description of what the expense was for. |
Tax Amount | โ | The VAT or tax portion of the expense. |
Receipt | โ | Upload a photo or PDF of the receipt. Strongly recommended for audit purposes. |
Notes | โ | Any additional notes for approvers or your own reference. |
Billable | โ | Mark if this expense should be billed to a customer (for pass-through billing). |
Tip
After you fill in the amount and supplier, AI Expense Categorization (Professional plan and above) suggests a category you can accept or override. Tetri Copilot also warns you if the expense looks like a possible duplicate of one already recorded, helping you avoid double entries.
